Haring Art

It is very difficult to remember to take photos during our short middle school periods! Here’s a lucky glimpse at a simple Keith Haring collaborative project 🙂 We started by looking at a few classic Haring works. This was great for paint brush skills practice. It was also a great opportunity to demonstrate intentional brush strokes rather than sloppy brushwork.  It took about one and a half periods to complete these.  The first day students were so calm and really focused on their work.  The second day, when most groups were just working on the doodles, some students found this more challenging and needed encouragement.
