Kinder Paper Sculptures

This is one of my favorite projects!  Students take rectangles of various size and color and use a colored pencil to roll the paper into a spiral.  Then students arrange their spirals on their base paper using Elmer’s Art Paste.  This glue is fantastic, it takes time for it to hold, but it dries clear and looks really clean once it is dry. These projects look great hanging on the wall together.  There are a lot of opportunities to talk about height, shape and color in this project.

Inspired by these projects!

Some students even think of new ways to attach their spirals 🙂
